Indexer failing for deleted contents

We have a 10.1.3.3 version of Oracle UCM installed on production server. Indexer is able to index the checked in contents and updated contents but deleted contents are not getting indexed and as a result the search shows them but on opening the content info page we see the error content does not exists.

We verified the status of indexer and found that our rebuild cycle was in interrupted state and with as many as 5 crore contents we cannot rebuild index.

Please suggest if anyone faced the same issue or any idea on how to analyze this issue and find a solution.

expired license

Since yesterday, our content server gives the following error message:

Content Server Request Failed
Unable to retrieve search results. The current license has expired. Requested licensed feature 'Search' is denied.

We were under the impression that we had a permanent license. Our development and production servers are still running OK, what can be wrong?
